Strengthening Industry Synergy: KFCB Engages Kenya Film Commission Ahead of Kalasha 2026

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) team on 24 th March 2026, hosted a hybrid meeting with representatives from the Kenya Film Commission (KFC) to explore areas of partnership in the upcoming Kalasha International Film and TV Market, Festival and Awards, themed, Innovating Tradition: Reinventing Storytelling One Frame at a Time, scheduled for 28th April to 2nd May 2026 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Nairobi.
As a regulatory agency established under the Films and Stage Plays Act, Cap. 222, Laws of Kenya to oversee the creation, possession, broadcasting, distribution, and exhibition of audio-visual content in the country, KFCB remains committed to collaborating with industry stakeholders, as well as agencies with a corresponding mandate to spur the growth of Kenya's film and TV sectors through facilitative regulation.
