KFCB to Host “The Resurrection” Easter Acapella Experience at Nairobi Film Centre

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) will host “The Resurrection—An Easter Acapella Experience” at the Nairobi Film Centre (NFC) on Good Friday, 3rd April 2026.

In preparation for the event, the Ag. Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Nelly Muluka, on Tuesday, 31st March 2026, hosted a team of the project’s organisers from Salt and Light, a drive spearheaded by renowned gospel artist Mercy Masika.

The event will bring together talented acapella groups and spoken word artists in a powerful artistic journey celebrating Easter-themed messages, with top performers set to be awarded.

Ms. Muluka affirmed the Board's commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at promoting talent, noting that the program is timely and resonates with the Board's resolve to spur the growth of the creative sector.

She reiterated the Board's continued collaboration with like-minded stakeholders to enhance responsible content creation and consumption.

The meeting also explored areas of possible long-term partnerships, including mentorship of upcoming filmmakers and diverse creatives to promote compliance and talent growth.
