KFCB and Tunga Media Africa Collaborate on Film for Social Change Screening Initiative
The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), a State regulatory agency under the State Department for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, in partnership with Tunga Media Africa, conducted a joint consumer awareness campaign during the Film for Social Change: Impact Lab and Student-Led Screening, an initiative designed to engage students in film literacy.
The interactive session, which included the screening of award-winning Kenyan films, was held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Enoomatasiani Girls Secondary School in Kajiado County.

During the forum, KFCB Senior Film Classification Officer Ms. Faridah Masai sensitised the students and other participants on the film classification process, emphasising the importance of responsible creation and consumption of audio-visual content.

The students were later treated to an unforgettable cinematic experience aboard KFCB’s state-of-the-art Cine-Mobile Truck, a unique mobile screening platform that brings the magic of Kenyan films closer to communities across the country.
